Ineffective Argala
Due to the presence of certain planets in some houses, Argala may even be ineffective at times. It is believed that if there are planets in tenth, twelfth, third and ninth house, Argala in second, fourth, eleventh and ninth house becomes ineffective. According to Jaimini astrology, Argala of ninth house is ineffective with the presence of Ketu in fifth house. In the same way, Argala in tenth house is ineffective with the presence of planets in the fourth house. Argala in second house, third house and ninth house are ineffective with planets in twelfth house, eleventh house and fifth house respectively.
Effects of Argala
According to beliefs, Argala gives auspicious results during dasha of the sign of the house in which Argala is formed. Inauspicious Argala naturally gives inauspicious results.
